Iaboni, a 25-year-old level one certified CrossFit trainer and soon to be massage therapist, sat down to discuss his thoughts on how the power of social media is influencing the world of fitness. Social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram make it easier for fitness apps to share information and showcase progress with friends and followers. Although fitness and social media are a part of many people’s lives, the two powerful entities can offset one another. Iaboni shares his experiences with exercise and his perspective of social media and its role on living a healthy lifestyle.
