Tiffany Montano, a senior sociology major at Stony Brook University, has her own techniques while walking from class to class. “I need to hold something that’s warm,” she said has she held her hot chocolate with one hand and the other in her pocket.
Students can purchase hot coffee and tea at the Union Starbucks and find gloves and hats to bundle up by stopping by the Seawolves MarketPlace.
With groundhog Punxsutawney Phil predicting six more weeks of winter, it is essential for Stony Brook students to stay warm at all times.
